Typically, returns from overseas customers are not allowed, however, there are some extreme cases where a return would be warrented which are laid out below.
・Item arrives destroyed.
・Item is different from described to a point where it is not the same item.
・Item is not authentic.
・Item does not arrive at all.
Tosatokendo Deposit Hold Policy
At Tosatokendo, we take great care in preserving and dealing in authentic antique Japanese swords. To ensure a smooth and secure transaction process for both our valued customers and our business, we have implemented the following 3months Hold Policy for deposits:
Purpose of the Hold: When a deposit is placed on an item, Tosatokendo will hold the item for maximum 3 months. This hold secures the item exclusively for the customer, preventing others from purchasing it during this period.
Terms: A non-refundable deposit is required to initiate the hold. During the hold period, the customer is expected to complete payment in full. If full payment is not received within 3 months, the item will be released back for sale, and the deposit will be forfeited. In rare cases, extensions may be granted at our discretion with prior communication.
Why This Policy: This policy ensures fairness for all collectors and maintains the integrity of our inventory. It provides customers time to finalize payment or arrange financing while securing the piece they desire.
